Who are the team behind Native Outdoors?

 

Vaughn Benniman set up Native surf board hire back in 2005 after working in the industry for over 10 years. In 2011 he decided to branch out forming Native after a trip to Morocco.  Inspired by the beautiful tents he stayed in , he brought back some fine furnishings and started renting his first 2 tents.

 "At the time my  aim was to offer a new, affordable, fun way for families and surfers to enjoy our beautiful North Devon Coast, with both tents and surf equipment all delivered. I had never dreamt that we would soon be catering for large weddings and events all over the south west as well as camping holidays in North Devon! Its been an exciting  journey and I still love the creative & physical outdoor challenge of making every tent special"

  Vaughn's wife Ellie started working alongside him in 2013  and now they have a Native Junior, their young son Oakes who is learning the ropes! Native has some 50+ tents and are still growing.

Vaughn and Ellie feel very blessed to live and work where they both grew up and love to inspire others to

enjoy the outdoors just as much as they do.
